Who\What introduced you to Curling?
Its been something that I was basically born into. My grandparents to my parents & now myself have played. Since I was about 15 I can't think of many winter days I haven't spent at a curling rink. My grandpa used to pick me up from School & take me to the club where he managed so I could throw rocks until one of my parents got off work. Thats where I got my start.

Do you have any pre-game superstitions or rituals?
Bud Light & Powerade if we really need to turn things around.. Otherwise whatever seems to be working that week.

What is your career highlight to date?
Representing Canada at the 2011 WJCC in Perth Scotland.

What is one shot you would like to try again?
I'd like to have 2 back actually: 1) Run back for 5 against Ontario in 2010 Junior Semi Final.. Gross throw. 2) My last rock Freeze in the 10th end of the World Junior Semi-Final.

Who was influential in your curling development?
My Dad (Kelly). The first Brier I attended was 2002 when my Dad played Lead for Scott Bitz and Saskatchewan. After watching him play in that Brier, I knew Curling was something I wanted to play a big role in my life in the future.

What is your favourite sport other then curling?
Golf, Baseball & Football.

What do you enjoy most about curling?
I absolutely love the camaraderie involved in curling. Most of my closest friends are people I have met through curling.

What have you learned through curling?
Hard work pays off. And Patience... Although i still have no patience.

Other Olympic Sport you'd like to try?
Skeleton... and maybe hockey for the chicks.

What would you like others to know about curling?
It's hard.

Most memorable curling experience?
Making a little hack weight nose hit to win Juniors.

Kirk Muyres

Place you'd like to build a curling club?
On the beach in Mexico would be just fine with me..

Who are your favourite athlete/heros?
My Dad, Tom Brady, Vinny Chase, Rickie Fowler, Tiger Woods.

What other sports do you play?
Golf & Used to be baseball but now that I'm getting up there in age its Slow Pitch.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I am an unbelievable singer.

What is the best advice you've ever received?
Adversity causes some men to break, others to break records.

Name one thing that's in your bucket list?
Live on a deserted island i.e. Tom Hanks Cast Away style.

What sporting event would you most like to attend?
Definitely Masters at Augusta.

What do you wish you were better at?
Curling

Revolution & Survivor

What is your favourite music? Groups?
Favourite bands are Lifehouse, Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney.. For the most part I enjoy all music.. Except the hardcore scream-o stuff that Kirk Muyres listens to before games..

Costa Rica, Mexico, Thailand, Australia, Thailand, Hawaii
